This highly innovative product offers a multiple advantage for the producer as well as for the end-consumer: no binder necessary, applicable in the extract procedure and a washing resistance of up to 100 cycles at 60° Celsius.
The natural anti-bacterial effect of silver against a broad-range of bacteria is undisputed and scientifically accepted. It damages the cell membranes of bacteria and inhibits their growth. In addition, it hinders the reproduction of the bacteria responsible for odor development. As in many other areas, SANITIZED is pioneer in silver technology. Over six years, silver has been used very successfully in the Polymer Area. SANITIZED was the first supplier of silver products for natural antimicrobial hygiene protection in Europe. So far unattained washing resistance
Sanitized® Silver was developed for synthetic fibers, especially polyester – the preferred material for functional textiles for the sport and leisure clothing sector but also for work-wear. The end-user particularly demands a high washing resistance for these articles. Sanitized® Silver fulfils this aspect to the highest degree. Up to 100 washing cycles at 60° Celsius (EN ISO 6330:2000) are possible without impairing the hygienic function.
No use of binder increases wearing comfort
Since the product is applicable and washing resistant without the use of a binder it is suitable for sensitive textiles because feel and soft touch are not impaired. In addition, not needing a binder saves costs in the production process.
The application can be carried out in the exhaust and/or padding procedures and is therefore suitable for all completely processed knitwear (T-shirts, underwear, socks, etc.). Sanitized® Silver is compatible with a large number of other textile effects and offers the producer the biggest possible flexibility.
The new, innovative SANITIZED product fulfils the Oeko-Tex 100 Standards and combines all aspects, which have always been expected of long-lasting hygiene-function-equipment for sport, leisure and work wear. So far, no other silver product has been able to achieve this level of complexity and dependability. The specially developed technology has already been registered for a patent.
