Sanitized®-Silver
Sanitized®-Silver is a new-type antimicrobial active substance with a wide spectrum of effectiveness based on silver, a naturally occurring precious metal.
With the use of a unique glass ceramic carrier, SANITIZED AG has succeeded in doubling the performance capacity of silver as compared with other silver-containing active ingredients.
The result: safety, effectiveness and high economy. The active substance is directly incorporated into the plastic material.
- The glass ceramic carrier activates the silver ions only when the environmental conditions are favorable to the growth of microbes.
- The innovative active substance based on natural silver is resistant even to high temperatures of over 500°C.
- The unique, transparent glass ceramic carrier has a minimal or no effect on the optical properties of transparent plastics, which is not the case with other active ingredients that are also based on silver.
