Sanitized® Antimicrobial Products Featured in the Levi’s® Brand “Commuter” Series

SANITIZED AG, the worldwide leader in antimicrobial hygiene protection, will provide innovative performance apparel technology to the Levi’s® brand “Commuter” series, newly designed for the needs of the urban commuter cyclist and are now available in selected stores. Built around the 511TM Skinny Jean and the classic Levi’s® Trucker Jacket, this collection features fabric and construction upgrades that increase mobility and durability, while protecting cyclists from the potential hazards of their daily commute.

When commenting on the Commuter series, Erik Joule, Senior Vice President of Levi’s® Men’s Merchandising & Design, said, “This product was born from innovation and classic American style – it’s about designing product for people who ride bikes, by people who ride bikes. We knew that our jeans were already being worn by urban cyclists across the country. We listened to what they wanted and created a product with performance traits for biking that also functions as daily street wear.”

SANITIZED AG is proud to be an innovative partner in the newest collection from the Levi’s brand. the role of Sanitized® hygiene function, a textile finish found in both the denim and non- denim fabrics of this collection, is to provide protection against odors for long-lasting freshness. The denim fabrics benefit from the SanitizedTM hygienic finish for textiles because it was designed to be compatible with other treatment technologies providing other features in this collection. Sanitized® products act on the bacterial cell membranes, which prevents their growth and hinders the reproduction of the bacteria responsible for the development of unpleasant odors – offering optimal freshness, comfort and protection.
