Carhartt® and Sanitized®: Two strong brands protect employees in healthcare professions.

For 120 years, the work clothing and uniforms from Carhartt® have signified first-class quality, comfort and fit. For the first time, laboratory clothing will be finished with the antimicrobial hygiene function from Sanitized®.

People in care and laboratory professions benefit from the fruits of the new partnership between the work clothing specialists at Carhartt® and the hygiene experts at SANITIZED AG. The Sanitized® T 99-19 technology protects Carhartt® textiles from the colonization and reproduction of bacteria. An aspect for the own security of the wearer as well as for patients and all of the people along the chain of work in clinics and laboratories.

The brands appear together on the product: A specially developed label explains the product advantages through visual imagery. The competence of Sanitized® augments the strengths of the Carhartt® brand and makes the products highly reliable.

CID Resources Inc., Carhartt’s parent company, spoke very positively about the collaboration and in particular about the guidance provided by the experts from SANITIZED AG and their sales partners at Archroma during the development process. “Just the name Sanitized® by itself sends a message of safety, customers can understand immediately what benefits Sanitized® has to offer. And this was also an argument in our decision to work with SANITIZED AG as a partner”.

The partnership is already being expanded. The development phase for knitted polyester products from Carthartt® has started and discussions are underway about expanding into the CID resources brand WonderWink®.
