A new service offered by SANITIZED AG saves manufacturers who give their polymer products an antimicrobial coating against biofilm, fungi, pink stain or hospital pathogens the time and expense of an application test on industrial systems. The laboratory becomes a real-life situation.
A specially developed twin-screw extruder now in use in the SANITIZED AG Tec Center makes this possible. Master batches of low- to high-melt polymers in various formulations as well as the finished compound from the most important polymers (PE, PP, ABS, PC, POM, PS, PMMA) can be manufactured here and immediately tested for the desired antimicrobial efficacy.
